The journey of clay into a finished piece

Our clay is the result of a long journey and generations of expertise. The raw materials we use are pure minerals from the earth: kaolin and ball clay from England, and quartz and feldspar from Finland. Kaolin and ball clay give the mixture its fineness and plasticity, while quartz and feldspar provide strength and durability. Our clay and glaze recipes are the product of years of careful experimentation and development.

It all begins with an idea, nurtured over sketches and a cup of coffee. The forms are shaped on the wheel, by casting, with a shaping machine, or pressed – the method is always chosen to suit the character of the piece. After shaping and decorating, each piece is hand-glazed by dipping or spraying, then carefully arranged in the kiln. The high firing temperature of 1300 °C and the gas-fired flame kiln give each piece its high-quality, unique appearance, ensuring a durable, lifelong shape. Once fired, the bottoms are polished and each piece is sorted.

In our hands, clay transforms into functional objects, decorative pieces, and works of art – each carrying the story of its origin, the touch of its maker, and the power of fire. From our ceramic studio, the journey continues to homes, where each piece becomes part of new stories – in everyday life and special moments, contributing to the small, beautiful miracles of life. Every piece is a fragment of earth, a piece of history, and a piece of our heart.

Our ceramic products are made entirely from food-safe stoneware clay, and they withstand ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, and freezing.
