High-quality craftsmanship tradition in its third generation

We are a family-owned company, deeply proud of our decades-long heritage and our role in continuing the rich tradition of Finnish craftsmanship.

Our ceramic studio is located in Kalajoki, Finland, where we personally design and handcraft every piece. Each piece is made from high-fired stoneware clay. Quality shows in the details, the lasting durability of the products, and over 50 years of expertise. Our roots and connection to our local community are an essential part of who we are.

Safe and durable functional ceramics, free from harmful substances

All of our ceramic tableware are safe and suitable for food use. They are oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe. Our products have been tested at Eurofins Laboratories in accordance with ceramic regulations. The glazes and colors we use are non-leaching and contain no lead or cadmium.

Sustainability is built into our process. Clay can be reused during production before firing, and any items that don’t meet our quality standards after firing are crushed and recycled into raw material for heat-resistant construction. This means that almost no material is wasted in our production.

Inspiration and materials directly from nature

Nature, especially the coastal landscapes of Kalajoki, is one of our greatest sources of inspiration. You can see it reflected in our designs, decorations, and materials - from the shapes and colors to the Kalajoki sand embedded in the surface of our pieces.

All the materials used in our ceramics, from clay to glazes, are made from pure natural substances and minerals. Thanks to high firing temperatures, our stoneware is not only incredibly durable but also built to last for generations.
